What exactly is Senior Matters
...because seniors matter!
Senior
Matters is a sub-committee of the Parks and Recreation
Commission for the Town of Carbondale, Colorado. Carbondale is
located on the Western Slope of Colorado between Glenwood
Springs and Aspen.
Folks in
Carbondale realized that there were many offerings for our youth
and other age groups, but there was no specific organization
that offered activities for seniors. Thanks to the efforts
of Virginia Gina Sterrett, and many others, Senior Matters was
formed in 2006.

website is for you to use to find out just what Senior Matters

Notes from Target Promoting:
After months of soul searching I have
decided to put Senior Matters back up. I feel it is an important
part to the Carbondale community and even in economic down times
like this people and support groups like this should always come
before personal feelings and money.
I feel that many people have lost touch
with what is important anymore (including myself) and I have to
return to the values I feel are important in life. I feel if
Christ forgave me of my debt for sin I should do likewise in the
little things such as this.
When it is all said and done, it is not
the cars you own, the houses you have or the money in the bank
that is important in life, but it is the way you live your life
and treat those around you.
So I have decided to continue the
agreed services (free of charge) for
Senior Matters. I will continue doing the updates, SEO services
and any future additions. I feel that what Randy Vanderhurst did
by developing this site was a GREAT contribution to the
Carbondale community and I feel money should never stand in the
way of a great cause.
Sincerely,
David Vande Burgt |
