Senior Matters...

Location

Senior Matters is part of the new Third Street Center, a non-profit center for the Carbondale community.   The former school is owned by the Town of Carbondale and has become a featured non-profit facility for a wide variety of organizations.  

The Carbondale Senior Center is located in the Health Services Node of the Third Street Center (North End)  In this facility we are hosting a wide variety of programs for seniors.  Some of the offerings will include lectures, activities, computer instruction, bridge lessons, health information, writing classes, acting for seniors, basket weaving and many other programs. 

The site will be used in the future for the weekly senior luncheons sponsored by Garfield County and the State of Colorado. 

We also have a Wii interactive video system and will be having senior tournaments that will not only be fun but will improve hand to eye coordination. 

We are excited about our new facility, and hope you will stop by and see what is happening.  Senior Matters is totally open to your suggestions for new and varied uses of this facility, so let us know what you want to happen!
